GCKA Youth Forum Volunteering Event: Adopt-A-Highway
 
We are pleased to announce that the next Adopt-A-Highway is scheduled for November 14th, 2015

 

As usual it will be held at 1609 Kelly road, Apex NC 27502 from 8:00 to 12:00There will be a Mandatory safety meeting from 8:00 to 8:30. Make sure you bring the GCKA Liability Waiver GCKA Code of Conduct Form and DOT Liability Waiver Form. It must be signed and given to the Youth coordinators prior to partaking in this event. All participants must be older than 12. Also please review the Adopt-A-Highway Program & Safety Guidelines. Pizza and drinks will be served afterwards.

Cary Spring Daze

When: April 28th, Saturday
Where: Fred G. Bond Metro Park, 801 High House Road, Cary, NC

Activity Details: GCKA Youth Forum will set up an Indian food stall at the Cary Spring Daze Festival. In order to make this event a success, Youth Forum will need community support through volunteers and donations. More information on this will be sent out closer to the actual event date.

Kramden Institute

When: March 17th, Saturday
Where: 4915 Prospectus Drive, Suite J – Durham, NC 27713

Activity Details: The GCKA Youth Forum volunteered at the Kramden Institute, a non-profit charitable institution with a core mission to empower hardworking, economically disadvantaged students by awarding them with home computers. GCKA Youth will assist them in this mission by going to their worksite and helping to collect, break down, and refurbish computers
